A few weeks ago we took a spontaneous trip to see some friends in Modesto and Fresno with a quick stop in Monterey. It was so exciting to see all our big and little friends.

We saw the Herbert family too. Poor Kimmie wasn't feeling well, so no picture of her.
Parker loved Caleb. He copied everything he did.
We went to Monterey for a day, it was Boden's first time in the sand.
Too bad it was freezing and he had to be in a snow suit.
Little Elli was so good even though she had no snow suit.
Parker was pretty miserable.
The next day was much better.
Parker was so excited I couldn't get him to sit still for a picture.
Boden had this weird thing the whole trip, his tongue was always hanging out of his mouth.
Thankfully he is over that phase.
He loved the sand.
Such a fun trip can't wait to go back!
